The Mystery of the Woman with a Crown of 12 Stars

In the book of Revelations Chapter 12 we see another MYSTERY of another WOMAN and this time this one has a crown of twelve(12) stars. Rev.12: 1.

Now get set...ready and Go...

Are you still in doubt as to why it points to Israel?

Then SEE the following attributes

1. She has a crown of twelve stars. This signifies the 12 tribes of Israel. See 1Kings 18:31

"And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, unto whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be thy name..."

"And the stones shall be with the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet; every one with his name shall they be according to the twelve tribes." Exod. 28: 21; Joshua 4:9

2. Timeline: Please take note that at this point in time, the writer of the book of Revelations speaks of the sounding of the 7th Angel. Just follow the chronology. Rev.11:15 and get to the Book of Prophet Daniel and see chapter 12.

  "And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book." Dan.12:1

The Angel Gabriel told Daniel that at the last time or time of the end, Angel Michael which is the Principality that stands for Israel in the heavenly realms( just as "the prince of Persia" stood for the Persian kings) will rise to battle to defend Israel. Come back to Revelations again and see:

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels..." Rev. 12:7

This battle is carried out in the heavenlies for the soul of the Israel nation and to clear the way for the reign of the Messiah in Jerusalem. The Dragon was defeated in the heavenlies and this ushers in the era of the Messiah. Hence, he faces Israel for deep persecution which he would inflict via the Anti-Christ from the Middle of the "last one week" See Dan. 11:27 cf. Dan.11:31.

3. 1260 days of fleeing for Israel believers. Jesus already mentioned about this desolation and indignation that would come upon Israel. Rev. 12:6 Read Matt. 24: 15-21. "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)...For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be." Because the Anti-Christ shall declare himself as Messiah in the Temple of God in Israel, Jesus warns: "Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not." Matt. 24: 23

Now if you remember my last blog on The Two Witnesses, you will remember Revelations Chapter 11 verse 3 that I said these two would oppose the Anti-Christ for 1260days!

Now get back to Revelations 12:6 and I hope it now click! Tada! Both of these Great Prophets referred to the Anointed ones who stand before the Lord of the whole earth. Zechariah 4:14, would be testifying of the True Messiah, namely Jesus Christ in those days of Israel's trouble.
