The Shabbat which means Rest is both a Command (Mitzvah) and a Blessing(berakhot ברכה).
The Shabbat is for :
1. REST
Ex 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
2. REMEMBRANCE( or Memorial or Reflections)
Ex 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Ex 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
3. SACRIFICE
Nu 28:9 And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof:
Nu 28:10 This is the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
4. CONVOCATION
Lev 23: 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
The Shabbat is in the following LEVELS
1. Weekly Shabbat
Lev 23: 3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.
2. Seasonal Shabbat or the Feasts of the Lord

3. Land Shabbat or "Sevens" Shabbat (שבועות Shavout)
Lev 25: 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
4. Jubilee Shabbat
Lev 25: 8 ¶ And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.

All the Blessings(berakhot) of G-d are all embedded in the Shabbat.
Hence, all the blessings of the Eternal covenant can be assessed and enjoyed in the Shabbats/Rests of G-d.
How did Jesus, the Messiah, relate with the Shabbat?
1. Jesus announced the Jubilee Year onto Israel!
Luke 4: 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.
17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
The Jubilee Year is also known as The Acceptable Year of the Lord!
Let us go through Leviticus 25 again:
Le 25:10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
Le 25:11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
Le 25:12 For it is the jubile; it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
Le 25:13 In the year of this jubile ye shall return every man unto his possession.
Le 25:15 According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
2. Jesus cast out demons on the Sabbat day which was in the Jubilee Year of Israel
Luke 4: 33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
In casting out this demon, Jesus demonstrated the Jubilee which is the year of Release and Return(Shavout).
Prayer
